Membership

We proudly represent Norfolk school leaders at both a local and national level, working closely with a variety of parties to ensure our leaders have all the tools and information they personally need to deliver high quality and effective leadership within their settings.

Our purpose:

  • To provide peer support
  • To improve the wellbeing of Norfolk leaders
  • To identify and address the most poignant issues impacting Norfolk’s leaders and their schools
  • To encourage and support system generosity for the improvement of all Norfolk schools
  • To act as Norfolk’s voice in the wider education landscape
  • To work with, and be a conduit of information to and from local and national organisations including the DfE, Ofsted, RSC, local MPs and the LA, furthering Norfolk causes on a national stage
  • Facilitate and support effective induction for Headteachers
  • Challenging where necessary on the collective behalf of Norfolk leaders

Highlights of our membership include:

  • Preferential rates for training, workshops and events, including our annual conference.
  • 3 termly face to face leadership updates
  • Twilight headteacher briefings, 2 per half term, additional frequency to be dictated by need.
  • Access to wellbeing opportunities and guidance
  • Discounted subscriptions to The Key for School Leaders and ALPS

A key aspect of our role is to listen to your concerns, queries and difficulties, raising them at appropriate meetings. Thus, ensuring your challenges are addressed and where possible, resolved. Feeding back to you through our regular briefings on our actions and outcomes. Much of this work is achieved through representation undertaken on your behalf by our committee members on boards including Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership Board, Joint Chairs and meetings with individuals such as MPs, the RSC and Ofsted.

Our annual membership is renewed every April, rates for this coming year are as follows:
